Clinical Research Director managing protocols for the American Academy of Neurology, Naval Medical Center, San Diego Children’s Hospital, and the University of California, San Diego (UCSD).
As the Connect adoption czar, I was responsible to define a strategic internal Adobe Adoption program to increase usage of Acrobat Connect Professional primarily by customer service, Sales and remote conference meeting. The program primary initiatives were to contribute to overall product direction, and build customer facing marketing and sales tools.

Managed all scheduling, site and subject recruitment, grant and publication writing and submissions; including National Institute of Health (NIH) submission and neuropsychological testing associated with learning more about Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) in adolescents.
- Managed IRB ongoing approval process for Children’s Hospital and University of California, San Diego (UCSD).
- Managed process for all grant submissions including NIMH.
- Formed, supervised, and managed a nationwide team of researchers.
- Managed all publication writing and submissions.
Monitored the flow of the research protocol to ensure that the project received administrative, scientific, adhered to the protocol approved by site Institutional Review Board (IRB); and ensured compliance with grants administration policy and procedures.
• Managed all scheduling, site and subject management, grant writing, publication management, protocol testing, and ongoing training to study the affects of concussion among adolescents.
- Increased adoption of head injury awareness across the nation, including over 20+ sites in the California program.
- Formed, monitored, and managed research protocols nationwide (30+ sites).
- Published publications, videos, television segments (i.e., Fox News), and books.
- Managed all grant submissions, including National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) for over 100K per year.
- Developed a nationwide training program for athletic trainer, high school coaches, and orthopedic physician to increase concussion awareness and Sideline Assessment of Conclusion testing.
Responsible for developing a research protocol, including methodology and data gathering.
- Managed every aspect of the research design, data collection, all conclusions, and IRB reviews.
- Invited Speaker at Annual Sports Related Conference on Concussion and Spine Injury in Florida.
- Offered three clinical research positions to continue protocol.
- Recruited over 100 subjects.
- Became an industry expert about the management of concussion in sports, as well as a pioneer for the work of today.
